HAPPIER times, Tehyah Solan-Clarke
THE family of a seriously-ill three-year-old girl has been “overwhelmed” by the efforts of local people.
Last month Tehyah Solan-Clarke was placed in an induced coma after brain damage from a series of strokes.
The Royton toddler is now out of the coma but remains very ill and heavily sedated.
After reading Tehyah’s story Royton football coach Kevyn Gibbons (73) decided to do all he could to raise money for her family — including her siblings Aaliyah (four) and Dantay (one) — and has organised a fundraising event.
He said: “The story really got to me. She’s such a sweet-looking girl and I knew straight away I had to do something to help.
Kevyn has organised a fancy dress fundraiser at Royton Band Club on Saturday
