At St Anne’s Church, in Royton, worshippers will walk to the Royal Oldham Hospital from noon and hold a service outside the main entrance to which patients are invited.
Town-centre churches will gather in the grounds of Oldham Parish Church at 11.30am and parade into the town centre, pausing for a short service before returning to the parish church for refreshments.
Eight churches from Failsworth will gather at St John’s Church for an outdoor service at 3pm.
