Murder accused ‘like a psychopath’

A COPPICE woman accused of murder “acted like a psychopath” as she travelled towards the house where two children died in an arson attack.
Fiaz Munshi (38), of Manley Road, is accused of killing Majid Khan (15) and his sister Anum Khan (eight), at a house in Oxford in 1997. She denies the charges.
A jury at Oxford Crown Court previously heard the siblings’ brother Amjad had broken off his relationship with Ms Munshi before the attack.
Five men were convicted of killing the children in 1998. Ms Munshi’s sister Riaz was convicted of manslaughter.
The court heard from one of the men who travelled with a group to the house in Magdalen Road. One,
Sunder Khutan, said he believed he was going to Oxford to beat someone.
The group stopped at a petrol station to fill a can with petrol.
Arriving at the house, the group waited for the lights to go out. Khutan said Munshi was “erratic and acted like a psychopath” and heard her say “I’m going to make sure that house gets burned down”.
The trial continues.
