NBA star drops in

A FORMER NBA basketball star dropped in on an Oldham school to deliver a motivational speech.
John Amaechi OBE is now a psychologist, a high-performance executive coach and New York Times best-selling author.
He visited pupils at Kingsland School, Watersheddings, to tell them his story and inspired them to achieve.
Amaechi became the first British basketball player to have his shirt hung in the US Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 and in the same year led Great Britain to a basketball bronze in the Commonwealth Games, Sydney.
