Annalise death-drive charge

A DERKER man will appear at Minshull Street Crown Court charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention after his van hit and killed 12-year-old Annalise Holt.
Peter Scott (57), of Frances Street, was driving his Mercedes Vito along Milnrow Road, Shaw, on December 17 when he hit the schoolgirl and her friend, who suffered severe injuries.
Mr Scott appeared at Oldham Magistrates on Friday and entered no plea. He will appear at crown court for a plea and case management hearing on August 15.
