Four-midable performance

TALENTED Sophie Bamber has claimed a quartet of regional freestyle dance titles.
The 18-year-old won her age group in both the solo and slow categories at the IDTA North-West qualifier at Wytheshawe Forum.
She also won the pairs competition with dance partner Ciara Durr (14) and the duo came second in the rock ’n’ roll category.
To top it off, Sophie was part of the team from Pure Dance Academy, Oldham, which won the group dance.
She will now represent the North-West at the national finals in Blackpool in November.
Mum Anne said: “I am very proud of her, she has won the solo title for three out of the last four years and she only missed out last year by one point.”
