Rain fails to dampen spirits at park party

DERKER residents turned out for a day of family fun at the Party in Stoneleigh Park on Saturday, despite the rain.

Heavy showers could not dampen the spirits of visitors who attended the annual celebration for the whole community to enjoy.

The event was organised by Friends Of Stoneleigh Park (FOSP), set up in 2007 to bring together all communities surrounding the park.

It featured a clmbing wall, inflatables, stalls, face painting and much more on offer throughout the day.
