Runners get ready for take off

RUNNERS will turn Manchester Airport red during a unique chance to fundraise for two charities.
Take off will be on Sunday, September 21, when participants will follow a four kilometre route around the perimeter of the UK’s third largest airport.
All those taking part must wear red and raise a minimum of £25 to enter.
The event is in aid of Medcare, Manchester Airport’s supported charity at the Wellspring Children’s Medical Centre in Kamutuuza, Uganda, and Flying Start, British Airways’ global charity partnership with Comic Relief UK.
The runners will be joined at the start line and during the run by a number of famous faces, with the full celebrity line up yet to be revealed.
