Rubbish tipped on moor road

Rubbish including asbestos left in a lay-by on Marsden Moor, Huddersfield Road, on the border of Denshaw and Kirklees.
A HUGE pile of building materials was dumped in Huddersfield Road, Denshaw.
Oldham Council’s environmental team was sent to collect the waste and remove it from the beauty spot, which is close to the Huddersfield border.
A council spokesperson said: “If you see anyone fly tipping or dumping rubbish report them to us on 0161-770 6644 or submit a report online at www.oldham.gov.uk so that we can investigate.
