Annalise death charge

A MAN charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention after his van hit and killed 12-year-old Annalise Holt has appeared at Crown Court.

Peter Scott (57), of Frances Street, was driving his Mercedes van in Milnrow Road, Shaw, on December 17 when he hit the schoolgirl and her friend, who suffered severe injuries.

On Friday the court adjourned the case until November 14. A trial will take place next July
