Teenager remanded over baby death

AN Oldham teenager charged with child destruction has been remanded in custody.
Dusan Bako (18), of Copster Hill Road, appeared before Oldham magistrates yesterday to confirm his name, age and address.
The full charge alleges that on August 14 he intended to destroy the life of a child capable of being born alive by punching the mother-to-be in the stomach.
Bako, an aspiring rapper originally from the Czech Republic, will appear at Manchester Crown Court on September 8.
