A dazzling line-up of top local talent will be the star attraction at a giant music festival this weekend.
Festival organiser, Dave MacDougall, said: “We are planning a humdinger of a day, with a cracking line-up of top local talent and artists from across the region.”
The event is at Saddleworth Rangers ground in Shaw Hall Bank Road Greenfield, from 1-8pm on Saturday.
Dave said: “We are delighted local businesses have offered their enthusiastic sponsorship and support again. It gives us lots of confidence to take the festival forward.”
The open-air festival underpins Round Table’s community-wide Christmas party for the elderly and the spectacular Winter Wonderland in Uppermill.
Dave added: “We plan to support the Chronicle’s Christmas Wishes initiative and welcome requests from the community who may need our help.”
Tickets for Saddfest 14 are on sale at the White Hart Inn, the Old Bell Inn, the Farrars Arms and Paul’s Quality Meats in Uppermill.
