Driver hurt in collision

A TAXI driver was taken to hospital after being injured in a collision with another car on Shaw Road, Oldham at around 5am today.
The taxi collided with a Ford Focus damaging both cars. When firefighters arrived the driver of the Focus had run off. Police are now trying to trace him.
The taxi driver, who hadn’t been wearing a seat belt, was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital.
