A CONCERT tomorrow in memory of two-year-old Shaw explosion victim Jamie Heaton could help his family to hit their target of £50,000 raised in his name.
Local bands will rock Crompton Cricket Club from noon to 8.30pm as part of a day of music and family entertainment.
The Jamie’s Something Special fund was set up by the toddler’s parents, Kenny and Michelle, and has so far raised £30,000 to improve Bullcote Park in Heyside, where Jamie took his first steps.
Jamie’s great aunt Sylvia Robinson said: “The family has been overwhelmed by the support shown.
“The concert is going to be free entry, to give something back to Shaw, with all the money raised going to the fund. We are hoping this will push us over our £50,000 target.”
