Man on murder charge

A SHAW man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in Heywood.

Steven Dunks (45) of Milnrow Road, was due to appear before Manchester magistrates today.

Police were called to Boleyn Court, Heywood, last Tuesday afternoon after reports of concern for the woman’s welfare. On arrival, they found the body of a woman, believed to be aged 43. She has not yet been formally identified.
