Teenager accused of child destruction

AN Oldham teenager allegedly punched his pregnant victim in the stomach after hearing she was pregnant, killing the unborn child, a court heard yesterday.
Dusan Bako (18) of Copster Hill Road, is accused at Manchester Crown Court of intending to destroy the life of a child capable of live birth.
Mark Kellet, prosecuting, said: “There is evidence of a punch that followed talk of the victim being pregnant.” The medical cause of the unborn child’s death has not yet been agreed. Two pathologists will give evidence.
The hearing was adjourned and aspiring rapper Bako, originally from the Czech Republic, will enter a plea at Manchester Crown Court in November, with a trial set for February.
