Homes chief Cath in line for award

CATH Green, chief executive at Oldham’s largest housing association First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO), has been shortlisted for a landmark achievement award at the national Women in Housing awards.
Nominated in the category which recognises those who have worked in the social housing sector for more than 20 years, Ms Green is also recognised as someone who demonstrates the ethos of the spirit of the awards.
The panel of judges are looking for an “exemplary, inspirational and pioneering woman who has made a significant impact on the social housing sector”.
Ms Green, who joined FCHO as chief executive in November, 2010, has always been active in strategic partnerships and sits on several groups driving general public service reform. She is also a member of a team aiming to improve the lives of residents in five key financial areas.
She said: “I am honoured to have been shortlisted.”
Winners will be announced at a dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester. in November.
