£300,000 drugs haul

CANNABIS worth £300,000 has been seized by police who made four arrests during raids in Oldham.
The 30kg haul was found on Waterloo Street on Friday as part of Programme Challenger — Greater Manchester’s operation to tackle drug dealing and organised crime.
Three men aged 31, 36 and 53, and a woman aged 28, were arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply. Two of the men and the woman have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Jahngheer Younis Ali (36), of Waterloo Street, was charged with possession of intent at Oldham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. He was remanded in custody before A crown court appearance in Manchester on October 20.
