Homes chief Cath in line for award

THE chief executive of First Choice Homes Oldham, Cath Green, has been shortlisted for a landmark achievement award at the national Women in Housing Awards.

Nominated in the category recognising those who have worked in social housing for more than 20 years, Ms Green is also recognised as someone who demonstrates the ethos of the spirit of the awards.

The panel of judges are looking for an “exemplary, inspirational and pioneering woman who has made a significant impact on the social housing sector”.

Ms Green joined FCHO as chief executive in November 2010. She said: “I am honoured to have been shortlisted.”

Winners will be announced at a dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester in November.
