Ray Lewis: Royton date
Music legend Ray Lewis is coming to Royton.
The former lead singer of The Drifters will be belting out the hits at the Blue Belle on October 30.
World renowned star Ray enjoyed 12 hits during the 70s including; “Kissing in the Back Row”, “Under the Boardwalk” and “Like Sister and Brother”.
Blue Belle owners, husband and wife Mark and Adele Appleton, say Ray is the biggest of several big names who have performed at the pub.
Mark said: “Ray Lewis is a name we both grew up with so it’s really exciting to be able to bring him to our venue.
Mark said: “It’s not everyday someone like this plays in Royton so I fully expect all the tickets to go, the guy is a legend.”
