Woman badly hurt in attack

A YOUNG woman is in a serious but stable condition after being admitted to hospital following a suspected domestic incident in Chadderton.
Police were made aware on Wednesday that the 27 year old had been admitted to hospital with multiple injuries.
A 33-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, has been bailed until October 24
Det Ins Andy Naismith said: “The woman remains very poorly and we are working to establish the full circumstances of how she came to suffer her injuries. “At present we are treating this as a domestic-related incident
“If anyone knows anything in relation to this incident that they think can help our investigation I would encourage them to call us. I would also encourage victims of domestic abuse or those who know of someone who might be subjected to such offending is going on to help end the fear and call us in complete confidence.”
