A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after allegedly breaking into Yorkshire Bank in Royton on Sunday night.
Police were alerted when the alarm at the bank in Market Square was activated at around 11pm.
On arrival, they found a back door of the building had been damaged and forced open. Officers discovered a man inside. Though nothing was stolen, the bank was closed yesterday while damage was repaired.
A man remains in police custody.
