Fireworks with the X factor
Date published: 22 October 2014
THE Big Bang is back in Oldham... and this year it’s got the X factor!
The popular civic bonfire will be held on Oldham Edge on November 5.
Fireworks will light up the sky with a stunning display of rockets, bangers and Catherine wheels all set to hits from the ITV talent show “X-Factor”.
The Juba De Leao drummers will also belt out Brazilian beats while the Gandini Jugglers will entertain with a magical routine using state-of-the-art light technology and Fire Man Dave and his team will put on a dazzling flame-juggling display.
This year, one child can win the chance to push the button to spark the fireworks display. Visit www.oldham.gov.uk/bonfire before November 1 for details.
Gates to the Oldham Edge site will open at 5pm, with the bonfire and onstage entertainment starting an hour later. The fireworks will start at 7pm.
