Lorry smash M-way chaos

A CRASH involving three lorries on the M62 caused massive delays as drivers sat in 20 miles of standing traffic.

The incident happened at 2pm yesterday at Milnrow.

One driver was trapped in his truck and had emergency treatment before being taken to hospital by helicopter.

Three lanes were closed on the eastbound carriageway. Commuters faced huge delays as the queues ran through rush-hour until around 8pm.
