Baby freed from car

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a five-month-old baby from a car in Chadderton yesterday.
The incident happened on Bowling Green Close at around 1.30pm after officers received reports of a baby trapped inside a parked vehicle.
When the crew arrived they prized open the window and returned the unharmed baby to its mother.
