Fabrice Muamba and Gareth Malone chat as filming begins at Latics’ training ground
FORMER footballer Fabrice Muamba visited a Latics training session as he prepared to make his TV singing debut.
Fabrice, who suffered a heart attack during a televised FA Cup game between his club Bolton and Tottenham Hotspurs in March, 2012, is part of the 2014 Children in Need choir.
The choir, which features 11 other celebrities, will release a version of the Avicii hit “Wake Me Up” to raise money for the charity.
Choir leader Gareth Malone shot to fame when he starred in BBC2 show “The Choir” which saw him help singing groups across the country improve their skills.
Fabrice (26) retired from professional football in August 2012 on advice from doctors.
He visited Chapel Road with a film crew and Gareth Malone to give a talk on heart health in the run up to the main Children in Need event on Friday, November 14.
