Busy time for firefighters

GREATER Manchester firefighters answered 375 calls and dealt with 158 incidents between 6 and 11pm yesterday, November 5.
The busiest hour for staff at the North-West Fire Control centre was 8pm-9pm with 95 calls.
Most of the incidents were small bonfires, either too close to properties or out of control.
