Mel Sykes: jungle fever
MOSSLEY-born TV presenter and former model Melanie Sykes will be hoping to be crowned queen of the jungle as she enters the “I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!” camp on Sunday.
The 44-year-old first found fame in an advert for Boddingtons bitter and has since become a household name thanks to a clutch of television roles — the latest co-presenting “Let’s do Lunch with Gino and Mel” alongside TV chef and former king of the jungle Gino D’Acampo.
The mother-of-two will be joined in Australia by TV newsreader Michael Buerk, “The Only Way is Essex” star Gemma Collins and former Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson, among others.
