Forest School site reopens after facelift
Date published: 21 November 2014
THE newly-transformed South Failsworth Forest School site was officially unveiled this week.
Children are now able to enjoy classes outside the classroom, with a dipping pond, campfire circle, bridges and new plantings to teach them more about the environment.
The outdoor teaching area was created with a £9,870 from the DHL UK Foundation’s Transform It! programme. Groundwork UK designed and built the project, with donations from the Co-op, Lottery Awards for All and the School’s PTA.
