NHS workers to strike
Date published: 21 November 2014
HOSPITAL radiographers will strike on Monday over a continuing national pay dispute.
The Government has rejected a recommended one per cent pay rise and continues a pay freeze that has run for four out of five years.
Union members will stop work from 8am-noon, after which there will be a week of working to rule.
Emergency and urgent care will continue but appointments and procedures may be affected.
For the rest of the week radiographers will take scheduled breaks and won’t work unpaid overtime.
