A WOMAN escaped with her life after a police chase led to an horrific crash in the early hours of this morning.
The drama unfolded at 3.45am after police spotted a car driving erratically without lights in Middleton Road, Chadderton. In a short chase the woman behind the wheel of a cream Mini ploughed into two parked cars — a VW Golf and a Mitsubishi Colt — before smashing into a wall near Firwood Park.
She was taken to hospital with a suspected broken collarbone.
