HALF of the staff at the Royal Oldham Hospital wouldn’t recommend the hospital to their family and friends.
The new statistics show the Royal Oldham had one of the lowest staff-recommendations rates in England for staff recommendations. Only 51 per cent of those surveyed said they were satisfied with the standard of care if their friend or relative needed treatment.
But that figure soars for patient satisfaction: 93 per cent of patients saying they would recommend it to their family and friends.
Most hospitals in the region showed comparable levels of low satisfaction among staff.
