MISSING: Kane
BONFIRE night fireworks went off with too much of a bang for terrified young german shepherd Kane, who fled from his owner’s Chadderton garden.
Owner Carl Elton still hasn’t found his year-old pet more than three weeks’ later.
Carl had let his two dogs into the back garden of his Mora Avenue home and after a firework went off with a bang in a neighbour’s garden, Carl realised Kane was missing.
Carl said: “I’ve got a 7ft fence; I can’t understand how he has managed to get over it. He must have been absolutely terrified.
“He’s a member of my family and I’m devastated I’ve lost him. I just want to know that he is safe.”
Kane is black with tan colourings and was wearing a black nylon collar/choker chain. He is also microchipped. Contact 07446-760409 or see the Facebook and Twitter group #FindKane.
