Christmas comes early for shoppers

OLDHAMERS can take advantage of a host of special offers as the countdown to Christmas begins.

Many local independent businesses have signed up for “24 Days of Christmas” which will promote a special offer each day until December 24. Offers will include 25 per cent off at Vintage 55 in George Street; a free balloon for children and entry into a prize hamper draw at Swirly Twirly Sweets in Manchester Chambers, and 10 per cent off any item at Nursery Goods Direct in Yorkshire Street.

Tommyfield Market traders are also joining in with offers.
