Mobility scooters now allowed on trams
Date published: 05 December 2014
A PERMIT scheme to allow mobility scooter users to travel by tram has been made permanent.
During a trial of the scheme, which started in March, more than 80 permits were issued.
The scheme is open to mobility scooter users who live in Greater Manchester and hold an English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) Disabled Person’s Pass or a TfGM Travel Voucher pass.
