Police appeal to collapse Samaritan

POLICE are appealing for a member of the public who came to the aid of man who had collapsed and later died to get in touch.
The incident happened at around 2.20pm on Sunday when a member of the public went into the toilets of Spindles shopping centre.
He found the 57-year-old man unconscious in one of the cubicles.
He alerted the security staff who provided first aid and called for an ambulance.
The man was taken to Oldham Royal hospital where he died that evening.
Det Sgt Simon Halliwell from Oldham division, said: “There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this man’s death and the coroner has been informed.
“Unfortunately the member of public who found the man left without giving his details and we would like him to get in touch.
“If you are the man who came to the aid of this man on Sunday afternoon, please call us on 0161-856 9063.”
