£15,000 cannabis farm found

POLICE are appealing for information after a cannabis farm with £15,000 of the drug was discovered in Heyside.
Oldham’s Organised Crime Unit executed a warrant yesterday morning as part of Programme Challenger, a Government supported scheme against organised crime, and seized 30 plants at the address.
Inquiries are ongoing to trace the offenders and Det-Chief Insp Chris Downey is keen to hear from anyone who can help. He said: “I would like to appeal to anyone with information about who is responsible for this cannabis farm to come forward.
“I would ask anyone who may know where drugs are being produced or dealt to phone the police.
“The information you supply will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence.”
