New Year Baby: l-r Jodie France, Elyssa France, Paul Renshaw and Emily France.
LITTLE Elyssa Renshaw was the first New Year baby to arrive in 2015 at the Royal Oldham Hospital’s maternity unit.
She was born at 12.51am and weighed 8lb 11oz. She became the second child of mum Jodie France (27) and dad Paul Renshaw (26) — also the proud parents of Emily (3) who was excited to meet her sister.
Paul said: “Everything went fine, it was a straightforward birth. It does make it nicer that it’s on New Year’s Day. It’s like a new year and a new start. We’re both delighted.”
Elyssa was due on December 23 and Jodie was expecting her to be born on Christmas Day.
