Have your say on homes scheme
Date published: 06 January 2015
Denshaw residents are invited to study a copy of a proposed new estate lay-out for 21 new homes tonight.
The houses would be built in a field off Rochdale Road (A640), just beyond the White House.
Oldham councillor Derek Heffernan is keen that villagers should be aware of the proposals before an application for planning permission is made to the council by the developer.
The land is classified as green-belt protected but it is thought that there may have been a recent relaxation to allow the building of affordable housing.
