Broadcasters tune in to parking fines

WHILE the country’s media had their focus firmly fixed on the doors of SportsDirect.com Park yesterday, they failed to keep an eye on their vehicles.
National news teams from TV, radio and the printed press parked up outside the ground while waiting to hear the latest twist in the Ched Evans saga.
Furtherwood Road was awash with journalists . . . but little did they know, a traffic warden was far from happy with where many of them had all parked — in resident permit zones — and slapped them with fines.
