SET for development . . . Keepmoat Homes will build 134 new properties in Limehurst Village on Rowan Tree Road and White Bank Road
Oldham Council’s ruling cabinet last night gave developers the go-ahead to build 134 new homes on Limehurst estate.
Three developers bid for permission to build homes on vacant sites in the area. Permission has been given to Keepmoat to build the homes for sale, 50 per cent of which will meet a set of 16 design criteria for accessible and adaptable homes.
This new development, on White Bank Road and Rowan Tree Road, will be funded by Keepmoat and the council will receive a capital receipt and overage after pre-agreed sales values are achieved.
Construction is scheduled to start in late summer.
