I’ve got kids to feed says knifeman robber

A would-be robber complained about having four kids to feed as he threatened to stab two pensioners walking their dogs.
The man approached the 64 and 71-year-old women in Wastwater Street Higginshaw late on Sunday and demanded they hand over their bags
One woman said she would get him some money and raised the alarm. The man walked off empty-handed threatening to kick the dog and stab the women.
The attacker is white, 5ft 5in tall, in his late 20s, of slim build with black hair. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper and blue tracksuit trousers.
