Chance to view £7.5m school plan
Date published: 06 February 2015
OLDHAMERS can find out more about a new £7.5 million primary school at a consultation event.
Last year, Oldham Council agreed plans to build a new school for 630 pupils on the site of the former Grange School in Rochdale Road.
The school, which will be a sponsored academy, is expected to open in September, 2016, subject to planning permission.
Members of the public can attend drop-in sessions in the Crompton Suite at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, February 11, from 10am-2pm.
Council officers will be on hand to answer questions about all aspects of the proposal, including the sponsor, timeline and reasons behind the build.
