Tram deal
Date published: 10 February 2015
TOMORROW’S planned tram strike is off after a last minute deal was made between Metrolink bosses and union reps.
Services were due to grind to a halt for all of Wednesday, which would have disrupted Manchester United's home game against Burnley, but will now run as usual after a pay dispute was settled.
A new pay offer has now been made and union members will consider it before voting on whether to take further strike action.
