Doctor charged over pictures

A FAILSWORTH GP has been charged with possessing, making and distributing indecent images.

David McMaster (50), a doctor at Quayside Medical Practices, Ashton Road West was originally arrested last year and bailed while investigations were carried out. He has been suspended from his role as a GP since his arrest, however the charges do not relate to his place of work.

McMaster will appear at North Cheshire Magistrates Court, Warrington, on March 2.
