A NATIONAL charity which helps prevent stillbirths and neonatal deaths is coming to Oldham for the first time next month.
Count the Kicks raises awareness about the importance of mums-to-be monitoring their baby’s movements during pregnancy.
Backed by celebrities including TV presenter Holly Willoughby and “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Alesha Dixon, the charity sells a kick counting wristband which helps keep track of an unborn child’s movement.
Local parents-to-be can buy a wristband, pick up information and help raise funds for the charity when they attend the Kit4Kids sale at East Oldham Methodist Church, Ripponden Road, on Saturday, March 7.
Mum-of-two Sarah Limb, from Derker, organises Kit4Kids sales, which donates profits from events to good causes in the local community.
The 38 year old said: “It’s brilliant Count The Kicks is coming to Oldham. The campaign spreads a very important message to mums..
