Driver runs off after ploughing into four cars

A white Transit van crashed into three parked cars and one moving vehicle in Shaw last hight before the driver and passengers ran off.

Police were called to Duchess Street at 7.50pm after four men abandoned the van and ran away. Extensive damage was done to parked Ford Fusion, Skoda Octavia and Vauxhall Astra cars. The driver of a Renault Scenic suffered minor neck injuries.

A number of stolen items were recovered from the van.
