Suspended doctor in dock

A FAILSWORTH GP has appeared in court charged with possessing, making and distributing indecent images.
David McMaster (50), a doctor at Quayside Medical Practices, Ashton Road West, entered no plea at Halton Magistrates’ Court, Runcorn, yesterday.
He was originally arrested last year and bailed during further investigation. He has been suspended from his role as a GP. The charges do not relate to his surgery.
McMaster will appear at Chester Crown Court on March 16.
