YOUNG astronomers have been gearing up for tomorrow morning’s solar eclipse — a spectacle that won’t be repeated in the UK for another decade.
Eager to catch the event, which will start at 8.27am, are pupils at Royton and Crompton School.
Pupils at the science college have already been trying out their special glasses and have also been making pin-hole cameras out of cardboard which will let them watch the event without the risk of damaging their eyes.
