A 32-YEAR-OLD man arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in Derker has been released without charge.
The man was arrested after a teenager was tied up and threatened with a machete during a robbery at the beginning of March. Police are now appealing for the public to come forward with information to catch those responsible.
Two raiders broke into a house on Melrose Street while the 14 year old was alone. The boy confronted the raiders and they tied him up and threatened him with a machete before stealing items.
A similar incident a week before saw a 13-year-old girl bound and threatened with having her fingers cut off.
